Estonian-based health-technology start-up Triumf Health is now a part of one of the most respected global health initiatives Health Tech Without Borders to better help the children affected by the war in Ukraine.

Triumf Health, an Estonian based health technology start-up, which is developed with the purpose of offering children age-appropriate psychological and health behavioural support embedded into a fun game environment, has offered their solution, Triumf Hero, free of charge for a little over two weeks. Triumf Hero is available in Ukraine, Poland, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, Estonia and during the course of last week has added Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark to the list of the countries that the solution is available in. 

Yesterday our Chief Marketing Officer Natali Kutsõk gave an interview on the ETV+ morning show about Triumf Hero mobile game that we have recently launched as a response to the mental health crisis due to the war in Ukraine and uncertainty all around Europe.

As of today our updated Triumf Hero game is available FOR FREE in Lithuania for children of Ukrainian refugees. The game is available in Ukrainian language and can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple App Store.

As a response to the war in Ukraine we are launching an updated version of our solution - Triumf Hero to support the mental health of children in the most natural way for them - through gamified digital therapeutics.

Step by step we are moving towards making mental health innovation ecosystem more transparent and accepted by forming a solid pathway to market together with our strong partners both from the public and private sector. We are happy to announce our official partnership with Accelerate Estonia.

This morning, the President of Estonia Alar Karis met with the top six young entrepreneurs in Estonia, as chosen by Eesti Kaubandus- ja Tööstuskoda and LHV, for breakfast and discussion. Our CEO Dr. Kadri Haljas was one of the President’s six guests and the only woman; Estonia may be a small country, but having breakfast with the president is nonetheless a big deal!

An even bigger deal is that during the presidential breakfast the discussion revolved around the importance of mental health! Dr. Kadri Haljas had the opportunity to tell the President about what we are doing at Triumf Health and as it turns out, he shares our mission and vision.

Setting out to reduce the risk of developing lifestyle-associated diseases and mental health conditions among children holds a great promise for the whole society.

In order to help chronically ill children, we need to focus on many aspects. First and most importantly - their mental health - how they are coping, what are their strengths and difficulties. How we can support their strengths and help with their difficulties. But if they already have the disease then we need to monitor how their treatment is followed, we need to give information on their condition, their health and wellbeing, we need to support their general health behaviors so they could live healthier lives and at the same time empower and give a sense of success. These components that are necessary to induce behavioral change work only when these are delivered in a way that kids love. And don’t they enjoy playing games? In our mobile health game kids need to save the Triumfland city from the Disease Monster but how did we come up with that? How did we know about the needs of the users?
